Host of “Tom Steinstra’s Great Outdoors“
Tom Stienstra was the fourth living member inducted into the California Outdoors Hall of Fame, the only two-time National Outdoor Writer of the Year, and two-time National Backcountry Sportsman of the Year.

In 2005, he won first place for best outdoor recreation radio show in America. The show is featured at 7:35 a.m., 9:35 a.m. and 12:35 p.m. on Saturdays.
Photography Tom won 1st and 2nd place in the nation for best outdoor feature photography, the first person to win both 1st and 2nd place in the history of the award, honored in Salt Lake City in July, 2011, by the Outdoor Writers Association of America.
Winter sports Tom won the Bill Berry Award as Far West Ski Writer of the Year for 2010-2011, awarded in June, 2011 in Los Angeles at the annual convention for the 50,000-member Far West Ski Association.
